Currently, Marcel is co-founder and CTO of Timesulin, an innovative medical device company that aims to help people living with diabetes lead better lives through the application of smart technologies. In his role as CTO, Marcel oversaw the design, engineering and manufacturing processes of the first product – a smart cap for all insulin pens that shows how long it’s been since the last insulin injection.
His work is heavily influenced by his graduate MIT research in digital fabrication and the acceleration of physical product innovation. A recent transplant to Europe, Marcel often spends time in his former hometowns of New York and Cape Town.
